Breaking the Cycle of Recidivism

Breaking Free from the Second Prison

At Second Chances, we understand that leaving prison is just the beginning. Many formerly incarcerated individuals face a “Second Prison” – a world of limited opportunities and societal barriers. Our mission is to help Returning Citizens break free from these invisible walls and build successful, fulfilling lives.

Returning Citizens, helping them overcome the barriers of the “Second Prison” and become productive, fulfilled members of their communities.

The Second Prison has no physical bars or guards, but its impact can be just as confining:

Legal restrictions on certain rights and opportunities
